Steed and Mrs Peel: A Very Civil Armageddon

Steed and Mrs Peel: Graphic Novel Competition

Firstly, I’d like to apologise to the guys at Titan Books for being a tad tardy with this here competition. Illness sucks.

Secondly, I’d like to tell everybody else that those same publishing people have been kind enough to provide this site with a copy of the recently released Steed and Mrs Peel: A Very Civil Armageddon trade paperback to give away. I reviewed Mark Waid’s first volume in the new ongoing Avengers series here, and found it to be a fun and pretty faithful continuation of the show’s finest era.

How to Enter

As long as you live in the UK, entering the competition couldn’t be simpler. Just answer the laughably simple question below, if only to prove that you’re a living, breathing non-spamming human being:

What is your fondest Avengers episode/moment?

As with previous competitions, there are four routes through which you can enter:

  1. Enter your answer in the comments section below (be sure to include your email address).
  2. Email contact@shelfabuse.com with the answer.
  3. Enter via the competition message on the Shelf Abuse Facebook page.
  4. Enter by responding to the competition message on the Shelf Abuse Twitter page.

Participants may enter once in each of the above options – giving you a total of four attempts at entry. Also, be sure to sign up to Facebook/Twitter for news of further competitions… and rest assured of the “Shelf Abuse hates spam” promise which I just made up.

Competition ends at 11.59pm on January 3rd 2014 and, again, is open to UK residents only.

The Small Print Stuff

This competition is open only to residents of the United Kingdom. Sorry, everybody else, you just don’t count.

Competition ends at 11.59pm on January 3rd 2014. The winner will drawn at random using a number generator and be announced on this page. The winner will then be contacted and asked for their address, and will be required to reply within 2 weeks of contact in order to claim their prize, which will then be mailed to them.

Participants may enter once in each of the above options – spamming any of the above will result in your email address being “blacklisted”. No, I haven’t yet worked out how that will work, either.
